FREE GOLF LESSONS

1.)  Silver Spruce offers free golf lessons from 4-6 p.m. on Fridays for those who are E1-E4 and O-1. You can borrow some of our golf clubs if you don’t have your own. If you’d like to join us, call the pro shop at (719) 556-7414 to reserve your space.

2.)  Junior golfers (under age 18) who would like to play golf and learn a little more before the snow flies are invited to Silver Spruce Golf Course for “Golf 303″ from 1:30-3 p.m. Saturdays through Nov. 22. Sunday afternoon will be our backup day in case we have bad weather on Sunday.

These advanced lessons will tackle the following shots:

  • Sand shots
  • Tree trouble shots
  • Should-I-lob-pitch-or-chip shots
  • On-demand tee shots

After the class sessions, participants will be able to play nine holes on the main course at NO CHARGE!

These junior golf classes are FREE, thank to a generous donation from the Boys & Girls Club of America.

For details, call the Pro Shop at (719) 556-7414.

What sprung up on the fringe of the Eastern Plains as a fledgling course in 1973 has matured into a lush oasis of long fairways and well-manicured greens. Silver Spruce Golf Course is beautifully landscaped with blue spruce, ponderosa pine, elm and maple trees, and several ponds. DSC 0090 250 Welcome to Silver Spruce Golf Course
DSC 0023 250a Welcome to Silver Spruce Golf Course Because of Silver Spruce’s location away from the mountains and its orientation to the sun, snow melts faster here than on other area courses, thus providing more opportunities for golf.
With the sparkle of city lights at the base of Cheyenne Mountain and Pikes Peak, Silver Spruce Golf Course also offers its guests an enviable view of Colorado Springs and the Front Range. DSC 0035 250 Welcome to Silver Spruce Golf Course
